This database is an index of obituary notices taken from local newspapers within the county. Morrow County, Ohio Vital Records, 1830-93
[Excerpt]... Created in 1848 from surrounding counties, Morrow County is located in central Ohio, about fifty miles north of Columbus. This database is a collection of birth, marriage and death records for county residents between 1830 and 1893. It provides valuable information regarding nearly 9000 residents. In most cases it provides birth information, parents' names, marriage information, and death date. For some residents, it also reveals military service, occupation, and other helpful facts. Taken from existing county documents, this database can be of tremendous value to researchers of Ohio ancestors.....

LDS Member Name Index, 1830-45
[Excerpt]... Officially organized in New York State in 1830, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints grew to a membership of over 30,000 before the death of its founder, Joseph Smith, in 1844. This database is an index of early members of the church whose names appear in over one hundred volumes documenting church history. Each record provides the surname and given name of the member, along with the reference where that name appears. Many entries also include parents', siblings, or names of children. It contains over 30,000 entries. For researchers of early Mormon ancestors, this can be a great source of detailed information.....

Marble Cemetery Records, New York City, New York, 1830-1937
[Excerpt]... The oldest extant non-sectarian cemetery in New York City, the Marble Cemetery was designed in 1830 with solid marble vaults built completely underground. This database includes the names of all 2,060 persons buried there. All the families that purchased vaults in the cemetery were important to the dynamic commercial, social, and cultural life of New York in the early nineteenth century. Each record provides the decedent's name, vault number, and burial date. After 1840, at least a fourth of all burials were removed to the newly popular rural cemeteries such as Green-Wood. All known removals and re-interments are noted in the "Comment" field, though there may be more that the Cemetery failed to record. For researchers of well-to-do New York City ancestors, this can be a helpful source of information.....

Mercer County, Kentucky Marriage Records, 1800-1830 Vol. II-III
[Excerpt]... Ms. Ellsberry began genealogical publication in 1958, when she published her own family history, The Warrens and You . In researching her own family, she found that libraries needed additional information from cemetery records, wills, land records, probate records, census records, etc., to help people with their family history. Ellsberry decided that she wanted to help by publishing books that contained solid genealogical data. She taught school for 34 years, but on weekends and summer vacation, she would travel around to different courthouses and cemeteries, recording the information she found. She also corresponded with several researchers and helped them in their research. Ellsberry self-published more than 300 books, and most of them are available for sale. Most of the compilation of these books took place between 1958 and into the 1970s, so the recorded information should include the cemetery and/or courthouse records of that time period.....
