On Monday April 2nd, the National Archives and Records Administration released the 1940 Census records. Shortly after, thecolorstylist.com, a website ran by a Westlake Village hairstylist, predicted that with wedding season quickly approaching, vintage and classic hairstyles will be the big trend for this years brides. A very strong gauge for predicting what this years brides will want is watching popular trends during the awards season. Many celebrities at this years award ceremonies including the Oscars wore vintage and 1940′s reminiscent styles.

Today the National Archives and Records Administration released the 1940 Census records.

The 72-year-old data had much more interest then they must have thought because in the first three hours they had 22.5 million hits on the site. Many people just couldn’t get through.

Officials said “About 21 million of the 132.2 million Americans counted in 1940 census are still alive.”

The 2012 wedding season is right around the corner and it’s time for spring /summer brides to decide how will they wear their hair. Many brides will look to popular movies and celebrity style to inspire them in their decision. Many celebrities at this years Oscars wore vintage styles. Actress’ such as Emma Stone and Diane Kruger wore their hair in vintage and 1940 reminiscent styles. Emma Stones’ perfectly polished up style has been quit possibly the most talked bout style of the season to date. Also, with recent releases of “Snow White and The Huntsman” and “Mirror Mirror” both nostalgic of Disney 1937 cartoon version of Snow White many brides will have vintage classic style on their minds.

Because the Supreme Court ruled that politicians can lie, and not be held accountable, so why not lie to make yourself look better-People do it all the time on their resumes, and still get the jobs. Until politicians and people are held accountable nothing will change.
